Linda first stated using real doors as canvases out of creativity – a number 8 wire appoach to making a canvas in a pinch. And being an artist she is always looking for ideas to make new pieces of art from recycling or upcycling.

A door on its side is the perfect shape for a landscape and will fit nicely on the wall behind your 3 seater couch. The holes drilled onto the back panel allow the door to fit snugly onto long screws in the wall and allow the ‘canvas’ to be flush with the wall. Look closely and you can even see the holes from the door handle that’s been left in the work as a quirky statement, and adding to the rustic feel of the work.

Now these doors have become somewhat of a signature of hers!
